Warranty Information

All Amarr garage doors come with a manufacturer's limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Door Warranty Only

This warranty covers the garage door itself - including sections, hardware, springs, paint finish, and windows. It does NOT cover any installation-related issues, as we do not install the doors. Proper installation according to manufacturer instructions is essential for warranty validity.

What's Covered

Paint Finish

Guaranteed against section rust through due to paint finish cracking, splitting, or peeling (surface rust and scratches not covered).

Sections & Hardware

Steel and aluminum sections, parts, functional hardware, and springs guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship.

Windows

Window frames, DecraGlass™, DecraTrim inserts, and glass guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship.

What's NOT Covered

  • Installation-related issues - Since we do not install doors, any problems arising from improper installation are not covered
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Lack of reasonable maintenance per manufacturer instructions
  • Product abuse, misuse, or unauthorized alterations
  • Damage from pressure washers, improper opener use, or external causes (fire, hail, hurricanes, etc.)
  • Exposure to corrosive substances, salt spray, or harsh environmental conditions
  • Non-factory applied paint
  • Hi-lift or vertical lift applications (only standard and low headroom applications covered)

How to File a Warranty Claim

Claims must be made in writing promptly after discovering a defect. Amarr Company will repair, repaint, replace, or refund at their discretion. Any freight, removal, installation, painting, or labor charges are the responsibility of the original purchaser.

To Submit a Claim:

  3. 3.Provide proof of purchase
  4. 4.Response may take up to two weeks

This is a summary of the Amarr Limited Warranty. The warranty is non-transferable and only valid to the original purchaser. The door must be installed and maintained at the home of original installation in accordance with manufacturer's instructions in residential single-family, residential condominium, or similar residential multi-family housing.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages or how long an implied warranty lasts, so limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
